Days after deliberating in Jamaica’s Home Circuit Court, Judge Bryan Sykes has denied the motion to review statements from two witnesses. Yesterday Adidja Palmer, known to dancehall fans as Vybz Kartel, was offered $3 million Jamaican bail (U.S. $35,438) relating to the murder of Barrington “Bossie” Bryan. Today he and his legal team appeared in court again in relation to another murder case: that of Clive “Lizard” Williams, who was allegedly beaten to death on August 16. Kartel’s team had planned to seek bail in that case today, but according to the Jamaica Observer, no bail application was filed. Instead the court demanded that prosecutors present all their evidence first.
