    Multi-genre Playlist of Songs That Are Already Moving the Massive Internationally in 2016

The start of the New Year could not be any better.  This playlist highlights ten notable releases between the end of last year and the beginning of this year, that are stirring up the musical anticipation for the rest of 2016.

Skinny Banton– “African Inna We” – Taking soca to the next level of consciousness, Skinny Banton channels a historic vibe with this song: ” It’s like a evoking riddim, whinning like we ancestors, getting di joy that music gi dem, bringing out the African Inna We.” The captivating riddim produced by J.R.E of Monsta Entertainment  in conjunction with  the lyrics, makes this  soca tune  a creative masterpiece.

2. Flipo -“Oh Gosh” – The sweetest vocals out of Trinidad and Tobago are featured in this song. You can just imagine the vibes, when this song come on during the Carnival  next  month.”Wine nah girl, ain’t nobody can stop you!

3. Popcaan– “Homemade”- This song by the unruly boss speaks for itself: “Any time we stand and talk boy dead, complete mi mission to bust man head. What do some sodomite dread?” Kickout!

4. Jah Cure – “Show Love” – Jah Cure is already a winner, as  he delivers on this easy listening, rhythm & blues, reggae fusion song off the album, The Cure. The healing lyrics of this song are soothing to the soul: ” I can build a house in your mind, and let your spirit unwind.”

5. Ameera featuring Mr. Vegas – “Hello”- With the outpouring of remixes of this song off the Adele album, 25, this one actually wheels and pulls back the hands of time, making it sound like  an original reggae song.

6. Lil Bitts– “Work”-This energy tune will make you move. Lil Bitts advises you to get your cardio on and aerobics up in 2016, all while wearing a  full suit, making for a unique and classy soca video.

7. Lyrikal – “Freedom”-With a steel pan infused riddim produced by Kubiyashi these song lyrics evoke  a true Carnival spirit. Lyrikal shows  great vocal range on this tune and the crescendo vocals emphasize the song theme in a way that stands out from a creative perspective.

8.  Problem Child– “Whole Lot Ah Land” -This song  is a double entrende about landscaping and with  signature Problem Child vocals, it makes for a  serious jump up tune.

9. Fetty Wap – “Trap Queen”- Jamstone Reggae Remix– Jamstone remixed the hottest hip hop tune for 2015, in a way that maintained the hip hop flavor and fused it with a laid back reggae riddim.

10. Alkaline -“Try Again”- the youngest and baddest in dancehall makes an inspirational tune, raising the amplitude of  soundwaves in 2016.
