Ask Nuh Question, Nuh Badda Mention

Did you ever notice something about this journey called life? Funny how sometimes your moment of elevation is the same moment people around you start to feel you gone past your place. When things come to bump, you may be surprised to know who might end up praying for your downfall. More time you find the situation can lead to tension. Like just this morning, Yaadcore forward with a. big new tune. Caan say you never know—it’s been all over social media all weekend. In case you never get the memo, the top rootsman selector of this generation has his own label imprint 12 Yaad Records—because who better to curate some serious sounds? Elevation we say. And yes, he’s an artist too because why not?  Video After the Jump…

Flowing over a rugged remake of the Abyssinians classic “Declaration of Rights” riddim track—produced by Top Rankin Sound out of Switzerland—Yaadcore blazes a hotter fire. “Least likkle thing a man wan’ buss you head,” the artist laments on his latest release.

“Tension is a very close song to my heart,” Yaadcore explains, “as the riddim gave me the energy to channel a serious life scenario that happened in the past and certain energies I faced on the musical journey.” “The video gives off that same serious energy with the flames and shots showing deep thought emotions and expressions.”  With fire torches blazing, Yaadcore gathers the tribes for a new video filled with powerful imagery and directed by Fernando. Boomshots proudly premieres the visuals today—check it without delay!

“The Artistic Journey has been a real inspiration,” says Yaadcore. “A lot of self realization. When you know you know.” In the song’s first verse the artist sings, “mi spread mi wings and then i fly like i was a butterfly.” Check the levels deeply. Yaadcore shared with us that those lines “really resonates deeper with me every day.” It’s a special feeling when you “know where Im coming from and what I’m developing into as we get ready to drop my debut LP. Creating & seeing/hearing the creation is really the most exciting part for me because i never know what is coming or where its coming from.”

Meanwhile, Yaadcore is happy to report that his life overall is great! “Giving thanks while there is still breath in the temple, and just doing my part in giving the world positive energy. Rastafari Love enuh! Jah Works!”
