Reggae Sumfest Dancehall Night Lineup

Rumor Has It That Some Very Big Names Are Still To Be Added

Reggae Sumfest, a.k.a. “The Greatest Reggae Show on Earth,” will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this July. Year in and year out, Sumfest has showcased the best of Jamaican music and brought some of the world’s best known international artists to rock out alongside reggae’s biggest stars. But don’t get it twisted—while folks like Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, and Lil Wayne tend to get most of the media hype, the fact is that Thursday’s Dancehall Night always draws the biggest crowds each and every year. The lineup for this year’s Dancehall Night has just been announced, so click through to find out who will be blazing up the stage this year.

According to the official Reggae Sumfest website, this is what the Dancehall Night lineup is going to look like:

Beenie Man
I-Octane
Cham
Konshens
Popcaan
Ninja Man
Assassin
Aidonia
KipRich
Tommy Lee
Spice
Khago
Tifa
Jahvinci
Baby Tash
Specialist
Potential Kidd
Zamunda

Of course all lineups—particularly Dancehall Night lineups—are totally subject to change right up until showtime. We definitely notice a few names that seem to be missing from this list—and not just the ones who are currently locked up—but Sumfest is all about surprise guests and last-minute additions, so our best advice is to expect the unexpected. But having said that, we can’t help but mention a couple of very big dancehall acts who are rumored to be touching the stage at Sumfest this year. There’s been no official announcement yet, so don’t quote us on this, but word is that both Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and Shabba Ranks may be touching the Sumfest stage this year. Both Shabba and GongZilla have such big outernational profiles that they might just wind up on one of those Sumfest International Nights. Stay tuned for more details…
