Chronixx fans have been patiently waiting for the rising reggae start Chronixx to bring his Start a Fyah tour to the U.S.A. for the first time. The show was already postponed once—and now it looks like they’ll be waiting for a good while longer.  Details After The Jump… According to a post on the artist’s Facebook fan page, the U.S. tour has been postponed “for the foreseeable future.”

Boomshots reached out to Chronixx management who offered the following statement:

We would like to apologize to all the fans, promoters and media outlets that support the Chronixx movement. Due to work permit delays, we are disheartened to learn we must postpone Chronixx & Zincfence band first ever U.S. tour. As an independent structure we did everything possible to solve the situation with U.S. embassy but unfortunately we couldn’t get the work permit for Chronixx & Zincfence band delivered on time to make this tour possible.

SOBs, the club where the New York City date had been scheduled (and then rescheduled), has “canceled” rather than postponing the show: Good afternoon, Reggae heads of NYC! We hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend. We hate to start the day off with bad news, but it was recently announced that the entire Chronixx US tour has been canceled. All tickets purchased will be fully refunded through TicketWeb. We apologize for any inconvenience….

The Start a Fyah tour did touch down in Canada last week. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ll be missing thanks to our ever-vigilant friends at the embassy:
